Your engineering already earned the credit. Claim it.
SR&ED returns up to 45¢ per $1 of qualifying technical work for Canadian-controlled companies. Most eligible BC manufacturers never claim, or claim a fraction of what they've earned. We prepare and file the whole thing, flat base + capped percentage, and only invoice when the credit is paid.

Why us
The incumbent model doesn't fit companies your size.
Big firms hand your file to a junior. Percentage boutiques price small and mid claims out of the market. Assembly shops make your engineer write the technical narrative. We do the write-ups and the financial assembly ourselves, at a fee that only scales with what CRA actually pays you.

Services
Three ways in.
Eligibility screen Free · 20 minutes
A structured call with the claims principal. You describe your technical work; you leave knowing plainly whether you have a claim, roughly what it's worth, and what's missing.
SR&ED-ready bookkeeping $500–1,500 / month
Expense tagging as transactions are booked, weekly time capture for technical staff, live project evidence files, and a quarterly readiness report showing accrued credit to date. Clients on this plan file bigger, cleaner claims at half the prep effort.
Claim preparation & filing $5–6k base + 7–10%, capped ~12%
We interview your engineer and write the technical narrative, quantify from your books, prepare the T661, file, and defend it through review. The percentage fee is calculated on the refund as paid by CRA, and only invoiced once it lands.
Process
No surprises between hello and cheque.
- Free screen. Eligibility confirmed live, claim range estimated.
- Paid assessment ($1,500–3,000, fully credited against filing). Claim quantified from your books, technical interview with your lead.
- You approve the claim value before anything is filed.
- We prepare, you review, we file. T661 with your T2.
- Fee invoiced only when the credit is paid. Typically 3–6 months after filing.
- If CRA reviews it, we defend it. Included, not extra.
The guarantee
Under 75% approved? We waive the fee.
We can put that in writing because we decline claims we don't believe will survive review. Inflated claims get walked away from. That gate is the product.
Three credentialed people touch every file. No call centers, no juniors learning on your claim.
Questions
Frequently asked questions
We're not a lab. Does our work even qualify?
Qualifying work is resolving technical uncertainty, not invention. Custom fabrication solving a one-off problem, process failures you had to diagnose, equipment modified beyond standard practice: these qualify routinely. The screen answers it for your specific work.
What does CRA actually look for?
Contemporaneous evidence: project records, time tracking, expense documentation. That is exactly what the SR&ED-ready bookkeeping plan maintains year-round, so February filing is assembly instead of archaeology.
What's the deadline?
18 months after your year-end, filed with the T2. Miss it and the credit is gone permanently. Older years may still be open; ask at the screen.
Why are your fees lower than the boutiques?
Low overhead, no sales team, principals do the work. Same program, less markup.
What do you need from us to start?
Your fiscal year-end, access to your books for the claim year, and one technical lead who can walk us through the problems you had to solve. We handle the rest.
How much of our engineer's time does this take?
One technical interview, typically 60–90 minutes per project, plus a review of the narrative before filing. We write it; your engineer confirms it's accurate.
Find out in 20 minutes whether you have a claim.
Bring your year-end date and a description of your hardest technical problem. If there's nothing there, we'll tell you on the call.
